Week 1

On our first week back, Fresh did not provide the peppers we needed to make our chili. We therefore decided to make a delicious improvised rice dish featuring crispy sweet potatoes, garlic, chickpeas, aubergine and bok choy. We also poured in a nice dose of curry, cayenne, pepper, salt and cumin. The end result: a yummy and warming dish, and a great first meet with students we hope to see returning in the future!

     

Week 2

Second week and our new year of Veg Soc has good and well kicked off! 60 people at today's meeting, and we made dumpling and vegetable soup! Be sure to check out the recipe in the side-bar, because it sure was a lovely meal to share with a lovely group!

Week 3

105 members already! Today we made lentil dahl, and, at the end of the evening, nobody wanted to leave!

Week 5

120 members! Today we had a collab with Bath Spa's vegan soc and we made chickpea tikka masala. Check out the recipe in the sidebar :)

This week we left the cozy Chaplaincy to go out for our first meal at Indian Temptation - lots of lovely curries and a great atmosphere!

Our Christmas dinner was made up of parsnip and carrot mash! Accompanying Christmas attire were a must ;)

Week 12

Back after Christmas, exams and ISB, today we made delicious miso soup!

Happy Valentine's Day -- celebrate with a romantic bolognese dinner :)

"Tuna" pasta today... Yummy non-vegetarian vegetarian meal with chickpeas and grated carrots.

Mexican influence today with tasty vegan fajitas!
