Remote Learners Advisory Panel

A significant number of students will be learning remotely this year, due to reasons related to Covid-19.

We are looking for a group of engaged remote learners, (Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught) to share their experience of this mode of study, both longer term and for shorter periods of self-isolation.

We will regularly be posing questions and issues arising from discussion with the University to gather insight and opinion on remote learning. Feedback from this group will be reported to key decision making groups in the University.

We are keen to hear from students from a diverse range of backgrounds, especially students from our black community, students with disabilities (physical and non-physical) and students from widening participation backgrounds.

We are also looking for students from all academic disciplines.

This work will take place throughout the academic year. We appreciate there will be times when you won't be able engage with this work.

Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make it easier for you to engage. This work will mainly be carried out through Microsoft Teams, with regular informal conversations and virtual drop ins. Using Teams means that you will be able to contribute at a time that suits you.

We will provide any training and support needed and if there is any particular training and support you have identified you can let us know.
