During her youth Zorana played in numerous orchestras such as Bedfordshire Youth Orchestra and Bedford Chamber Orchestra, playing in venues around Bedfordshire as well as the Royal Albert Hall.
Zorana went on to study Music at Chichester University. Whilst there she performed for Chichester’s 2014 Choir Festival, playing Mozart’s Requiem at Chichester Cathedral; operatic performances playing Bizet’s Carmen and attended a tour in Chartres, France, with the university orchestra playing to the Mayor of Chartres and his council. Zorana established her own ensemble consisting of Flute, Piano and Cello. She managed the Trio and acquired performance work for conferences, nursing homes and local performances within the Chichester area.
Whilst studying her MA in Music at Oxford Brookes, she joined Oxford Chamber Orchestra as well as the Oxford Brookes University Orchestra. She performed regularly playing at University Church of Saint Mary the Virgin.
Her dissertation was focused on the feminist topic of women cellists during the 19th and 20th Century.
Since moving to Bath, Zorana has established herself as a cello tuor and cellist. She teaches all ages and abilities and also teaches online to students all over the UK. Zorana has assisted local Bath musicians with their performances and has performed as a soloist for local care homes during the pandemic.
Zorana’s teaching style is fun but disciplined, with lots of enthusiasm.
Zorana's lessons will be available for Semester 2
