Freshers Week
First years will be moving in over the next few days with Freshers Week 2021 starting on monday which I can't wait to see you there! You can find out more about the events here FW21
Second years, there will be Freshers Week 2020 Take 2 on which you can find out about here FW20, do make sure you check out the events we have on as well as what societies and sports we have through the FW21 website.
IMCs
We are in the process of working with the university on how we can improve IMCs so if you have any feedback please get in touch!
Elections!!
Nominations for elections open on the 30th of September until 4th October. Positions such as Academic, Senate, Faculty and CSSU rep are up for grabs. I cannot recommend these enough if you want to help improve the student experience and help make a difference for youre cohort. Please get in contact if you have any questions, I would be happy to help.
Advisory Panels
This year we have created a new SU Student Advisory Panel which will look at all aspects of the student experience within different channels. These panels will be extremely useful in providing quick feedback on emerging issues and projects. We would love you to get involved!
To join the new team:
- Click "Join or create team" on the Teams area of Teams
- Enter 9opr4u6 in the "Join a team with a code" area
This year we're also going to be doing random prize draws throughout the year for those who engage with the panel and give feedback

BathLife Award
Our SU is made and led by stduents, when Covid hit we all swung into action to support eachother, creating a Corona Community. I am thrilled to share the news we won a BathLife award for Peoples Service. This is down to you, our students and our great previous officer teams!
