What We Do

If you are in search of a welcoming group of like-minded people, come and join us at Philosophy Society!
We organise weekly meetups on campus to discuss ideas from a very wide range of topics: from religion to the ethics of AI. We also host events with guest speakers and activists sharing their knowledge providing thought-provoking ideas based on ground-breaking research or their personal experiences.

Don't be worried about being the only one there, every session has had at least 15 people :)
What are our weekly sessions like?
Session topics are posted on the WhatsApp group a few days before each session. So far sessions have had ~20 mins of slide presenting and discussing with the presenter, then a large group circle and past 8pm smaller free flowing groups. But that changes a lot depending on whoever's presenting
Can I come late or leave early?
Absolutely! It's much more like a room of people talking than a class and we'd be glad to summarise the discussion so far if you'd like it.
