In addition to the VP Community and Diversity the Students' Union runs elections for equality and diversity representatives who represent students at Students' Union and University equality and diversity committees and steering groups.

The Students' Union has a number of Student Support Groups which you can get involved with. These groups represent their members at various Students' Union and University committees as well as providing support and social events. You can join any of these groups for free and can put yourself forward to be part of the committee of students who organise the group.
Access - a group for disabled students, students with learning difficulties or students with medical conditions which affect physical or mental health.
Global Group - providing opportunities for students of all cultures and backgrounds to celebrate and share customs with other students at the University of Bath.
LGBT - support and social group for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans students.
Mature Students - for students who are older than those they live and/or study with.
Student Parents - for students with children or caring responsibilities.
Gender Equality - for students to discuss and represent gender equality issues.
The Students' Union has a wide range of societies including cultural and faith societies which students at the University of Bath can join. Check out the Societies pages for a list of current societies available and find out what the societies are doing.
International Student Association
In 2009 the International Student Association (ISA) was formed, it's main purpose is to support and represent the views of international students at the University of Bath. All international and EU students will automatically become members of the ISA, to find out more check out the ISA pages.
