Want to know the best way to stay safe during the pandemic? Put on a mask and gloves, pick up a sword and keep back anyone who comes within 2 metres! Tune into the University of Bath Fencing Club’s Facebook Live webinar!

The University of Bath Fencing Club is a great club to get involved in this semester. Not only is fencing a unique and fun sport, it is great for staying active. From complete beginners to international-level fencers, we are all family and love to welcome new members. No experience or kit is needed to join, and we support both recreational and competitive fencers.
We have one of the best equipped salles in the country and a number of skilled student coaches - in the past we’ve trained students knowing nothing about fencing to BUCS-level athletes in just one year! We also have open sparring sessions throughout the whole semester if you’re looking to just give it a go or casually fence with no pressure.

In our Freshers’ Fair webinar, we will introduce you to the club and how fencing works. Then we’ll show you some of our competitive scene, before discussing our different training options and how we are running the club this year to make sure everyone stays safe. Finally, we will have a Q&A where the committee will answer any and all questions you may have. Hope to see you there! The webinar will be recorded and made available afterwards, so don’t worry if you can’t make it.
