What is Netflix party? 

The Google Chrome extension Netflix Party allows multiple users to log in and synchronize whatever show or movie they choose to watch on Netflix.

It's basically a remote version of the shared experience of sitting in someone's living room and watching Netflix together. 

Can you watch Netflix with friends? 

Netflix Party is a new way to watch Netflix with your friends online. Netflix Party synchronizes video playback and adds group chat to your favourite Netflix shows. 

What is the limit on the number of people who can join a Netflix party?  

Up to?50?friends can participate in the same Netflix Party. 

Is Netflix Party free? 

Netflix Party is 100% free. 

Does Netflix Party require everyone to have a Netflix account? 

All participants need to have their own account with Netflix to start or join a Netflix Party.  

Everyone needs to sign onto Netflix, and needs?to install the Netflix Party Chrome Extension prior to starting or joining a party. 

What you need 

  • A Google Chrome browser, 

  • The extension Netflix Party 

  • A Netflix subscription. 

Yes, you need to have a Netflix subscription. 

 Follow the next guide:

  1. Please make sure that you have installed a Google Chrome browser. And then go to?Netflix Party?on the Google Chrome browser and click "Get Netflix Party for free!" This will redirect you to Netflix Party's page on the chrome web store. 

  1. Click "Add to Chrome" and then click "Add extension" in the pop-up window. Netflix Party will then be added to the top right corner of your Google Chrome browser, next to the address bar. It will have the initials "NP." 

  1. Make sure your friends have downloaded "NP" onto their Google Chrome browsers as well. 

  1. Then click the "NP" button on your browser. You'll also have the option of making yourself the one in charge of pausing, fast-forwarding and rewinding by checking the "Only I have control" box. If you don't, anyone in your party will be able to use these features. 

  1. Click "Start the Party" and copy the URL that appears. Send this URL to the people you want to join your party. 

  1. Once your friends open the link, they should log into Netflix and hit the "NP" button on their Google Chrome browsers. 

  1. You should now be synced up!
