\n \nBath University and the SU Bath are working in partnership to spread compassion on our campus! There&rsquo\;s plenty ways you can get involve d with the Compassionate at Christmas campaign such as doing &ldquo\;rand om acts of compassion&rdquo\; or signing up to one of the many opportunit ies posted by our SU in the upcoming weeks.
\n\nThis week\, RAG cha llenge you to complete a random act of compassion by supporting First Ste ps Christmas Toy Appeal...
\n\nWhat can I do?
\ n\nThis Christmas\, First Steps are seeking donations of small wind-up toys for children at Twerton and Moorlands Community Nursery. To support the appeal and to ensure that\, where possible\, the toys are sourced fr om UK based companies RAG have launched an online fundraiser so that we m ay provide new toys for the children. \n\nWho are First Steps?
\n\nFirst Steps&rsquo\; aim is to improv e outcomes for young children in areas of need by working alongside their families and other professionals\, through their Early Childhood Communi ty Centres and their Specialist Early Years Centre Bath Opportunity Pre S chool (BOP)\, which provides Early Years Education and therapeutic servic es to children with additional needs. They provide quality\, inclusive ch ildcare and services for families that enable children to enjoy education and learning in a warm and welcoming environment and support parents bac k into education\, training and employment. \;First Steps were also v oted by students to be supported as one of RAG'\;s Big Four charities this year.
