\nDo you think you have what it takes to be on the next official University of Ba th\, University Challenge team? \;
\n\nThe leg endary quiz\, currently airing on BBC Two\, pits two teams of four studen ts from UK universities against each other in a battle of general knowled ge. Each winning team progressing to the next round\, until an overall se ries winner eventually emerges.
\n\nWe are inviting all students to come along and take part in our session where you will be put to the tes t with practice questions sent directly from University Challenge. \;
\n\nWe will be looking for 4 team members and a reserve\, one memb er will need to be the team captain and will be responsible for coordinat ing all the relevant information from its team members. \;
\n\nSo if you'\;ve always wanted to be on TV\, are superb at your general knowledge and think you can represent Bath\, come along and try out. \;
\n\nPlease note provisions can be made for alternative \;tes ts or other forms of assessment according to specific needs.

\n\nThese are the Eligibility Requirements for the Pr ogramme:
\n\n1. A team consists of four team members and o ne reserve member\, subject to Eligibility Requirement 10 below.
\n\n< p>2. Team members and the reserve member must not have appeared in the te levised version of the Programme for any university or university college on any previous occasion.\n\n3. The Programme is a competition fo
r teams of students. For the purposes of the Programme\, we are defining
a &ldquo\;student&rdquo\; as a person:
\n(a) who has enrolled with a
UK university or university college\; and (b) who is following a recogni
sed course of study at that university or university college\; and
\
n(c) whose final award in respect of that course of study has not yet bee
n communicated by that university or university college.
4. Tea m members and the reserve member must be available to attend all the reco rdings of the Programme on the dates notified to them by the Programme pr oducer.
\n\n5. At the time of completing the Application Forms\, an
d throughout all recording all team members and the reserve member must b
e students at the UK university or university college which is named on t
heir Application Form and which will be named on the desk at which they s
it to compete in the
\nstudio recordings of the Programme.
6. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students are eligible to particip
ate in the Programme\, subject to following a course of study at a level
equivalent to a Bachelor'\;s Degree or higher. This includes but is no
t limited to:
\n(a) Bachelor'\;s Degrees\;
\n(b) Graduate Ce
rtificates\;
\n(c) Graduate Diplomas\;
\n(d) Master'\;s Degr
ees\;
\n(e) Postgraduate Certificates\;
\n(f) Postgraduate Dipl
omas\;
\n(g) Doctoral Degrees\,
\nand is further illustrated by
the examples set out in Table 1 of the QAA'\;s "\;The Frameworks
for Higher Education Qualifications of UK Degree-Awarding Bodies"\; a

7. Students on both full-time and part-time courses are eligible to participate in the P rogramme.
\n\n8. If an overseas student is studying at a UK univers ity or university college as part of their course\, they will be eligible to participate in the Programme\, but only if they are studying at that UK institution for the whole period of recording.
\n\n9. Students w ho are undertaking a sabbatical\, whether paid or unpaid\, are not eligib le to participate in the Programme if the period during which they undert ake their sabbatical coincides with any of the recording dates for the Pr ogramme.
\n\n10. All team members and the reserve member must be st udents at the UK university or university college which is named on their Application Form for each separate recording in which they appear during the series of the Programme.
\n\nIf a team member ceases to be a s tudent (as defined in Eligibility Requirement 3 above) prior to or during the recordings of the Programme\, they must inform the Programme produce r immediately when they cease to be eligible to take part.
\n\nIf a team member becomes ineligible to participate prior to the commencement of recording\, they may be replaced by an eligible reserve member who mus t be part of the initial team selection process.
\n\nIf a team memb er becomes ineligible after the recording has commenced then the team may have to withdraw from the competition. Only in exceptional circumstances will the Programme producer consider a reserve member replacing a team m ember who is no longer eligible. Please note the Programme producer&rsquo \;s decision is final in this regard.
