Imagine a blindfolded coach trip\, where you will be dropped off to an undisclosed location and stranded 150 miles from campus. You must u se your resilience\, teamwork and powers of persuasion to make your way b ack to campus before midnight without using any money or your phones. The re will also be various fun challenges for you and your partner to comple te along your journey to gain extra points!
\n\nWhether you choose to hitchhike\, negotiate for free bus tickets or attempt the walk this is the perfect challenge to really test your perseverance and problem solvi ng\, all whilst raising money for charity!
\n\nWe will be hosting t wo information sessions on Monday 10 February\, CB 4.1 at 12:15 and Thurs day \;13 \;February\, 6E2.2 at 12:15. \; \;
\n\nThe challenge must be unde rtaken in pairs. You will only be able to purchase a pairs ticket which w ill cost £\;35 (£\;17.50 pp) and allow two people to participat e in the challenge.
\n\nThis is a fundraising challenge so you will be expected to collect sponsorship throughout March to raise money for M eningitis Research. There is a minimum of £\;300 fundraising require ment per team.
\n\nEach participant must attend a safety briefing w hich will be held the week leading up to the event. If you end up strande d for any reason\, you will be expected to use your own money to make it back to campus safely.
