Want to get to know the city of Bath but don&rsquo\;t know where to begin? We hav e the perfect way for you to learn about the best spots in the city\; whe ther it&rsquo\;s for studying\, grabbing a coffee with friends\, or stepp ing into Bath&rsquo\;s nightlife. Of course we'\;ll do the most popula r \;sightseeing spots too! \;Our Freshers'\; Week Captains wil l lead your exploration through the city and give useful insights as you go along. \;

This event is free to attend and open to all s tudents - just turn up - you do not need a wristband to attend! However\, you may be required to check in upon arrival so please bring your studen t card with you. \; \;

Tours will begin 5 minutes after each time slot\, so we recommend you arrive at the advertised time. Tours will leave from&nb sp\;outside Green Park House reception\, just meet the captains there!&nb sp\;All other city tours are listed as separate events\, so check out the What&rsquo\;s On pa ge \;if you can&rsquo\;t make this one! \;

Please b ring suitable footwear for walking\, a water bottle\, and please be aware of the weather and bring a raincoat if necessary. Accessibility Information &ndash\; What can I expect from this event?

\n\n

Tours do not have a limited number of participants who can turn up\, so the meeting point may be busy. However \, the maximum tour group size is 15\, so attendees may be split up at th e tour start to create multiple groups.

\n\n

Tours will involve walk ing in a group with Captains and students\, you may wish to talk amongst yourselves on the tour or listen to the captains pointing out locations i n the city and giving insights into the city (such as facts or advice). T here could be a high level of noise from the city\, which gets busy with large groups of people at times. You will not be expected to speak to any one if you do not wish to.

\n\n

If you need a break then please let a Captain know. If you wish to leave the tour\, you may do so\, you do no t need to inform a Captain but can speak to them if you have any concerns or queries before you leave.

\n\n

Although the route is mostly flat \, it will involve walking up some steep paths and so may not be suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues.
