\n\nWant to get to know the city of Ba th but don&rsquo\;t know where to begin? We have the perfect way for you to learn about the best spots in the city\; whether it&rsquo\;s for study ing\, grabbing a coffee with friends\, or stepping into Bath&rsquo\;s nig htlife. Of course we'\;ll do the most popular \;sightseeing spots too! \;Our Freshers'\; Week Captains will lead your exploration th rough the city and give useful insights as you go along.
\n\nThis e vent is free to attend and open to all Postgraduate students - just turn up - you do not need a wristband to attend! However\, you may be required to check in upon arrival so please bring your student card with you.
\n\nTours will begin 5 minutes after each time slot\, so we recommend you arrive at the advertised time. Tours will leave from outside Green Park House reception\, just meet the captains there! All other city tours are listed as separate events\, so check out the What&rsquo\;s On page \;if yo u can&rsquo\;t make this one!
\n\nPlease bring suitable footwear fo r walking\, a water bottle\, and please be aware of the weather and bring a raincoat if necessary. In the event of bad weather\, city tours may be cancelled\, please follow @thesubath on Instagram and join the announcements channel \;and /or the FW25 WhatsApp to keep up to date with this.
\n\nTou rs do not have a limited number of participants who can turn up\, so the meeting point may be busy. However\, the maximum tour group size is 15\, so attendees may be split up at the tour start to create multiple groups.
\n\nTours will involve walking in a group with Captains and studen ts\, you may wish to talk amongst yourselves on the tour or listen to the captains pointing out locations in the city and giving insights into the city (such as facts or advice). There could be a high level of noise fro m the city\, which gets busy with large groups of people at times. You wi ll not be expected to speak to anyone if you do not wish to.
\n\nIf you need a break then please let a captain know. If you wish to leave th e tour\, you may do so\, you do not need to inform a Captain but can spea k to them if you have any concerns or queries before you leave.
\n\nAlthough the route is mostly flat\, it will involve walking up some stee p paths and so may not be suitable for wheelchair users or those with mob ility issues.
