\n\nWant to get to know the city of Bath but don&rsquo\;t know where to begin? We have the perfect way for you to learn about the best spots in the city\; whether it&rsquo\;s for studying\, grabbing a coffee with friends\, or stepping into Bath&rsquo\;s nightlife. Of course we' \;ll do the most popular \;sightseeing spots too! \;Our Freshers& #39\; Week Captains will lead your exploration through the city and give useful insights as you go along.
\n\nThis event is free to attend a nd open to all Postgraduate students - just turn up - you do not need a w ristband to attend! However\, you may be required to check in upon arriva l so please bring your student card with you.
\n\nTours will begin 5 minutes after each time slot\, so we recommend yo u arrive at the advertised time. Tours will leave from outside Green Park House reception\, just meet the captains there! All other city tours are listed as separate events\, so check out the What& rsquo\;s On page \;if you can&rsquo\;t make this one!
\n\nP lease bring suitable footwear for walking\, a water bottle\, and please b e aware of the weather and bring a raincoat if necessary. In the event of bad weather\, city tours may be cancelled\, please follow @thesubath on Instagram and join the announcements channel \;and/or the FW25 WhatsApp to keep up to date w ith this.
\n\nTours do not have a limited number of participants who can turn up\, so the meeting point may be busy. However\, the maximum tour group size is 15\, so attendees may be split up at the tour start t o create multiple groups.
\n\nTours will involve walking in a group with Captains and students\, you may wish to talk amongst yourselves on the tour or listen to the captains pointing out locations in the city and giving insights into the city (such as facts or advice). There could be a high level of noise from the city\, which gets busy with large groups o f people at times. You will not be expected to speak to anyone if you do not wish to.
\n\nIf you need a break then please let a Captain know . If you wish to leave the tour\, you may do so\, you do not need to info rm a Captain but can speak to them if you have any concerns or queries be fore you leave.
\n\nAlthough the route is mostly flat\, it will inv olve walking up some steep paths and so may not be suitable for wheelchai r users or those with mobility issues.
