\nWant to get to know the city of Bath but don&rsquo\;t know where to begin? We hav e the perfect way for you to learn about the best spots in the city\; whe ther it&rsquo\;s for studying\, grabbing a coffee with friends\, or stepp ing into Bath&rsquo\;s nightlife. Of course we'\;ll do the most popula r \;sightseeing spots too! \;Our Freshers'\; Week Captains wil l lead your exploration through the city and give useful insights as you go along.
\n\nThis event is free to attend and open to all students - just turn up - you do not need a wristband to attend! However\, you ma y be required to check in upon arrival so please bring your student card with you.
\n\nTours will begin 5 minu tes after each time slot\, so we recommend you arrive at the adv ertised time. Tours will leave from outside Green Park House reception\, just meet the captains there! All other city tours are listed as separate events\, so check out the What&rsquo\;s On page \;if you can&rsquo\;t make this one! \; \;
\n\nPlease bring suitable footwear for walking\, a water bottle\, and please be awa re of the weather and bring a raincoat if necessary. In the event of bad weather\, city tours may be cancelled\, please follow @thesubath on Instagram and join the anno uncements channel \;and/or the FW25 WhatsApp to keep up to date with t his.
\n\nTours do not have a limited number of participant s who can turn up\, so the meeting point may be busy. However\, the maxim um tour group size is 15\, so attendees may be split up at the tour start to create multiple groups.
\n\nTours will involve walking in a gro up with Captains and students\, you may wish to talk amongst yourselves o n the tour or listen to the captains pointing out locations in the city a nd giving insights into the city (such as facts or advice). There could b e a high level of noise from the city\, which gets busy with large groups of people at times. You will not be expected to speak to anyone if you d o not wish to.
\n\nIf you need a break then please let a Captain kn ow. If you wish to leave the tour\, you may do so\, you do not need to in form a Captain but can speak to them if you have any concerns or queries before you leave.
\n\nAlthough the route is mostly flat\, it will i nvolve walking up some steep paths and so may not be suitable for wheelch air users or those with mobility issues.
