Want to get to know the city of Bath but don&rsquo\;t know where to begin? We hav e the perfect way for you to learn about the best spots in the city\; whe ther it&rsquo\;s for studying\, grabbing a coffee with friends\, or stepp ing into Bath&rsquo\;s nightlife. Of course we'\;ll do the most popula r \;sightseeing spots too! \;Our Freshers'\; Week Captains wil l lead your exploration through the city and give useful insights as you go along.

This event is free to attend and open to all students - just turn up - you do not need a wristband to attend! However\, you ma y be required to check in upon arrival so please bring your student card with you.

Tours will begin 5 minu tes after each time slot\, so we recommend you arrive at the adv ertised time.Tours will leave from outside Green Park House reception\, j ust meet the captains there! All other city tours are listed as separate events\, so check out the What&rsquo\;s On page  \;if you can&rsquo\;t make this one! \; \;

Please bring suitable footwear for walking\, a water bottle\, and please be awar e of the weather and bring a raincoat if necessary. In the event of bad w eather\, city tours may be cancelled\, please follow @thesubath on Instagram and join the annou ncements channel \;and/or the FW25 WhatsApp to keep up to date with th is.

Accessibility Information &ndash\; What can I expect from this event?

\n\n


\nTours do not have a limited number of part icipants who can turn up\, so the meeting point may be busy. However\, th e maximum tour group size is 15\, so attendees may be split up at the tou r start to create multiple groups.

\n\n

Tours will involve walking i n a group with Captains and students\, you may wish to talk amongst yours elves on the tour or listen to the captains pointing out locations in the city and giving insights into the city (such as facts or advice). There could be a high level of noise from the city\, which gets busy with large groups of people at times. You will not be expected to speak to anyone i f you do not wish to.

\n\n

If you need a break then please let a Cap tain know. If you wish to leave the tour\, you may do so\, you do not nee d to inform a Captain but can speak to them if you have any concerns or q ueries before you leave.

\n\n

Although the route is mostly flat\, it will involve walking up some steep paths and so may not be suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues.
