We are hosting a Renters'\; Rights Drop in on Thursday 7 May from 12:15 - 13:15 in the Edge \;Ensemble Room.

The \;Renters&rsquo\; Rights Act \;became law on October 27 2025. How ever\, any changes included in the Renters&rsquo\; Rights Act will be imp lemented from 1 May \;2026. Specific details of the key changes can b e found at \;we-rent.org.uk.&nb sp\;It is really important to understand what the key changes are and how these may affect you. Knowing your rights can help to ensure you feel co nfident when discussing tenancy agreements with landlords and letting age ncies. \; We have created a dedicated web page to help you understand what this means for you\, but we'\;re also hosting a dr op in to help support any questions you might have.

We will be joined by members of The SU Advice Team\, The Student Community Partnersh ip and Reslife. Students can pop in at any point during the hour and ask any questions they have around the Renters'\; Rights Act. There is no need to sign up in advance!
