Stargazing

\n\n

Explore the planets an d stars in this wholesome and enjoyable stargazing experience. Hosted by Bath Space Society (SpaceSo c)\, this is great opportunity to meet people in a calm and relaxing setting\, or with your newly made friends. Telescopes will be on hand\, a longside the committee who will be able to answer your space related ques tions.

\n\n

If you&rsquo\;re a fan of hot chocolate\, make sure to b ring your mugs and take advantage of the free hot chocolate available. Re member to wrap up warm with your favourite snacks\, and feel free to brin g picnic blankets or something to sit on. If you&rsquo\;re looking for a wholesome event or need a breath of fresh air before your first day of st udy\, then get stuck in and see what&rsquo\;s on offer - feel free to joi n at any time until 22:30.

This event is open to ALL freshers a nd you do not need a ticket to attend! However\, you will be required to check in upon arrival so please bring your student card with you.  \;

Accessibility Information &ndash\; What can I expect from this e vent?

\n\n

This is a relaxed\, low noise event which will take place outdoors by The Lake on campus. The number of attendees is not limited\, so there may be a large group present however\, the event will remain low noise. As this is a night-time event\, lighting will be limit ed to preserve vision for stargazing. Limited seating may be available\, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own folding chairs or picnic blankets. Committee members and Freshers'\; Week Captains will be on h and to help attendees. They will be wearing high visibility jackets.
