Boardgames and Biscuits

Boardgames and Biscuits is a great opportunity to make new friends or deepen already forged friendsh ips in an incredibly beginner friendly event! From the family classics of Pandemic and Codenames\, to the deeper picks of Terraforming Mars and Do minion\, our 80+ boardgame collection has something for everyone! Feel fr ee to come alone as you&rsquo\;ll meet people in no-time or bring a buddy to share the fun! Tabletop Committee will be present throughout to help you ease in\, provide any suggestions and to teach you any game you don&r squo\;t understand. There will be different biscuits available\, to suit the dietary needs of different individuals. Overall\, this event is a gre at alcohol-free option for anyone wanting an entertaining gaming experien ce whilst also meeting new people. \;

This event is ticketed an d open to ALL freshers. You do not need a ticket to attend! You will be r equired to check in upon arrival so please bring your student card with y ou.

Accessibility Inf ormation - What can I expect from this event?

This event will take place in the Edge Event Space. The event will be mildly busy so noise levels are undetermined. This is due to a potential capacity of st udents. For accessibility\, the Tabletop Committee will be there to help anyone with any problems they may have\, most expect an ability to see an d fine hand motor skills\, support will be on hand. The Edge has full whe elchair access as there are both steps and a ramp leading to the building entrance\, complemented by double-width\, automatic doors. The Edge spac e will have seating and tables to access the games. Accessible (and gende r-neutral) toilet facilities are available within the building. Our Fresh ers&rsquo\; Week Captains in Green T-Shirts will be spotted at the event\ , please use them for any information or queries you might have. You do n ot need any prior experience for this event. \;
