\nA Departmental Mixer is a n amazing opportunity to meet new students in your faculty and specifical ly in your course of study. This is a fantastic event in your first few d ays here at this remarkable university to meet your people from your cour se\, so you can spend Freshers&rsquo\; Week and beyond with them\, buildi ng strong friendships and finding that sense of community within your stu dy. You can drop in and out of this event as much as you like within the time advertised so please get involved whether that'\;s for 1 minute o r 1 hour. Peer mentors\, Academic Reps\, SU Staff\, SU Officers and Socie ties will be there supporting the event and supporting your experience.

We highly recommend this event to new students as we believe t his sets a fantastic standard into what your university journey has in st ore. We will have icebreaker activities so you can get involved in those as well. If at any point you need a moment away from the event\, we have a designated Mixer Rest Space where you can sit down and take a breath. W e look forward to introducing you to your people. \;
This event is open to Undergraduate Students Only and for people specifical ly of the courses above. You do not need a ticket to attend\, ju st show up at any point during the advertised times\, when you can and wh en you like! However\, you will be required to check in upon arrival so p lease bring your student card with you.

This event will take place in the Founders Hall. Due to the high number of courses present at the event\, we expect the event wi ll be busy and crowded and will have high levels of noise. This is due to capacity of people in this big facility. As mentioned\, we have a design ated Mixer Rest Space located outside of the Hall if anyone requires it a nd you can pop in and out as much as you like. \;
The Founders Hall has full wheelchair access as it is accessible from the paths across the University by the Bus Arrivals&rsquo\; Square. Any questions\, queri es or concerns you may have before\, during or after the event\, our Fres hers&rsquo\; Week Captains and different members of staff are there to he lp. \;
