\nA Departmental Mixer is a n amazing opportunity to meet new students in your faculty and specifical ly in your course of study. This is a fantastic event in your first few d ays here at this remarkable university to meet your people from your cour se\, so you can spend Freshers&rsquo\; Week and beyond with them\, buildi ng strong friendships and finding that sense of community within your stu dy. You can drop in and out of this event as much as you like within the time advertised so please get involved whether that'\;s for 1 minute o r 1 hour. Peer mentors\, Academic Reps\, SU Staff\, SU Officers and Socie ties will be there supporting the event and supporting your experience.&n bsp\;

We highly recommend t his event to new students as we believe this sets a fantastic standard in to what your university journey has in store. We will have icebreaker act ivities so you can get involved in those as well. If at any point you nee d a moment away from the event\, we have a designated Mixer Rest Space wh ere you can sit down and take a breath. We look forward to introducing yo u to your people. \;
This event is open to Undergraduat e Students Only and for people specifically of the courses above . You do not need a ticket to attend\, just show up at any point during t he advertised times\, when you can and when you like! However\, you will be required to check in upon arrival so please bring your student card wi th you.

This event wil l take place in the Tub. Due to the number of courses present at the even t with the Tub space\, we expect the event to feel busy and crowded and w ill have high levels of noise. This is due to capacity of people within t he facility. As mentioned\, we have a designated Mixer Rest Space located outside of the SU if anyone requires it and you can pop in and out as mu ch as you like. \;
The Tub has full wheelchair access with a li ft leading to the Tub. Any questions\, queries or concerns you may have b efore\, during or after the event\, our Freshers&rsquo\; Week Captains an d different members of staff are there to help. \; \;
