What is Cerea l Dating? \;

Who doesn’t like breakfast? A good bowl of cereal in the morning? Why not pop down to the Tub on Saturday 26th Se ptember for some FREE cereal. The Plug Bar will be on hand to sell some t op of the range tea and coffee to give you that caffeine hit that you nee d. The event will start from 9:00\, serving you from the Plug Bar for drinks\, then cereal will be served from 9:30 onwards. This event is perfect to indulge in some good breakfast\, meet new people and start the final weekend of Freshers’ Week on a high so you can attend th e amazing events that day like The Challenge Zone and The Welcome Ball wi th plenty of energy and excitement.

We will be supplying cereal tha t does contain Gluten ingredients. We will also have a Gluten Free cereal as well as alternative milk options. If you have an allergy or any dieta ry preferences\, please tell our Freshers’ Week Captains on shift so we c an help you\, or if you’d prefer to bring your own cereal\, we welcome th at and we can supply milk for you. \;

We look forward to feedin g your empty stomachs\, giving you access to tea and coffee and helping y ou make more friends. \;

This event is open to ALL freshers and you do not need a ticket to attend! The Plug Bar will be selling the tea and coffee and other non-alcoholic drinks which you’ll have to pay for i f you would like it. You will be required to check in upon arrival so ple ase bring your student card with you.

Accessibility Information - What can I expect from this event?

This event will take place in the Tub. The event w ill be calmer event so noise levels are estimated to be lower. This may c hange due to the potential capacity of students that attend but out Fresh ers’ Week Captains will be on hand to ensure everyone is relaxed and talk ing at a reasonable level.

The Tub has full wheelchair access. Ther e are double-width\, automatic doors on entrance to the SU space. There i s a lift up to the Tub and Plug. The Tub will have seating and tables. To ilet facilities are available within the building. Our Freshers’ Week Cap tains in Green T-Shirts will be spotted at the event\, please use them fo r any information or queries you might have. \;
