Hadrian is well known these days as the "\;Gay Emperor&qu ot\;\, but what is the story behind his relationship with young Antinous? And what did this mean for the people of Rome? Did they approve\, or did they mock their emperor? Were other people in the Roman LGBT+ community able to be open about their identities?
