Take part in our short introduction to the debating society here at Bath, and then take part in an open debate conversation around a topic pitching in when you want! A great way to engage and get a taste for debating.
This is our second session of this academic year, and it is aimed at getting our new members and those interested in debating and evoking conversation around topics that might interest you.
We will start with a small talk about the society itself, what we do, why you should stick with us and how we plan to go forward with the rest of this year. Then we will go right into the main event, having a main topic that we will dicuss as a debate in conversation and you can all pitch in.
You can join to watch others debate, or you can get fully involved yourself by either joining in with the chat, or speaking! This allows you to participate as much or as little as you want, which is how we usually run our society to ensure that everyone is comfortable with what they input. We hope to see you at the event!
