Taken from a festival’s application form asking for the [title of show], the musical follows a group of writers on a journey of creative self-expression. They write & perform their show whilst learning about themselves as people, friends and artists.
[Title of Show] is a new and witty musical portraying the highs and lows of writing an original Broadway show. Four friends decide to write a show for an upcoming theate festival about themselves writing a show for a festival, and along their journey to Broadway explore friendship, creativity, and what it actually means to be actors, writers, and composers in the modern day. In this “love letter to musical theatre”, audiences are treated to witty and selfreferential jokes, heartwarming songs, and a unique look at four friends just kicking it on stage!
