Freshers' Week
Get the cinema experience on campus! Come and watch movies with your friends, specially selected by your societies and sports clubs across the week. Take part across the week in guessing what we are showing each day, there'll be fun hints across SU social media!
This event is free to attend and open to Postgraduate students only - just turn up - you do not need a wristband to attend! However, this event is first-come-first-served and you will be required to check in upon arrival, so please bring your student card with you.
Our Freshers' Week captains will be acting as ushers for this event and will be managing capacity, please cooperate with them so the event goes well for everyone. Spaces are limited so turn up at doors to avoid disappointment!
This event involves the showing of an undisclosed film, which will change every night. You can expect the movie be loud, although there should be no conversation from attendees during the event. The theatre will have low levels of lighting during the movie. Please turn up at the event start time for the best chance of getting a seat in the cinema. There will be Freshers' Week captains on the door scanning library cards who can help with any queries you may have.
