Welcome Ball

This is your chance to grab your prom dress or suit and give it another outing at our Welcome Ball. Starting earlier with a night packed full of entertainment, this is one you'll always remember. We will have a free fairground, casino and an outdoor bar as well as so many experiences along the way, this is the perfect way to end Freshers' Week.

Tickets 

This event is included within the Freshers' Week Arena Wristband so will be FREE for all wristband holders. Wristbands can be purchased by clicking the button below from Monday 1 September.

Numbers are limited so purchase early to avoid missing out. Wristbands are Non Refundable. Wristbands ONLY guarantee entry until 22:00. After this you will have to join the non ticket queue. There may be opportunities to purchase tickets on the door for this event, however this is not guarenteed and will require queuing, so if you want guarenteed entry you must buy a wristband.

Accessibility Information - What can I expect from this event?

This event will take place in a large busy nightclub venue and include outside space. The music will be loud and there will be flashing lights throughout the event. Both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase from the bar. Students can choose to dance but there is limited seating. Some of the event is outside the main hall including a seating area, covered marquee with entertainment, fairground and access to the toilets, you may want to ensure you have something warm with you if the weather if cold. If you have any accessibility needs please see the door staff and they can guide you on how to enter the building.
