Around the country international students have been facing various difficulties due to Covid such as academic and social impacts in a mostly virtual environment, financial hardship, travel restrictions and testing processes. With lectures moving online and many international students studying remotely from home, there have also been calls for tuition fee and rent rebates, as well as feelings of being 'forgotten' by universities and the government.
