CHAIR - James Beumee
Hi everyone, I’m James Beumee and I will be your Chair for this year and am honoured to be serving on the committee for a second year. Motorsport has really been a part of my life since about 7 years old after watching an F1 race and eventually competed in some National and European Karting Championships before retiring around 13 years old. Since then, I’m on my final year studying Mechanical with Automotive Engineering and also grown a passion for Virtual Simulator Racing. For this year, I can assure you that all our events will be both safe and fun for all that come to our events, and I look forward to meeting you at them! If you have any queries about our events this year, feel free to contact me. See you soon!
TREASURER - Jason Boldero
Hi, I’m Jason and I am the Treasurer for 2020/21 season in the Motorsports Club. Having spent the last 3 years of my time at university on the club committee, I have had the chance to really understand the inner workings of the club. Outside of the committee, I was involved in the BUKC and more recently the RapiKart Racing League, based around South Wales and the bordering counties in England. Having held a wide variety of positions within the club, I am always more than happy to help with any queries that you may have so feel free to get in contact via social media or university email. I hope that in spite of the restrictions we can have a fantastic year of racing together!
WELFARE & INCLUSIVITY OFFICER - Cheuk Lun Ko
Heya I’m Cheuk, I’m your Welfare and Inclusivity Officer this year! Motorsport has had me hooked ever since I came to the UK, so if you have any questions about joining, or are wondering what sort of activities we do could hold for you specifically, please reach out, I’m always happy to help! I’m very easygoing and a casual racer (although looking to be more competitive this year) so feel free to talk to me about literally anything, always looking to make another friend as well.
KART CAPTAIN - Alexander D'Arcy
