Hi, I’m Jon, a third year Civil Engineering student and your chair for this year. I was raised in New Zealand until the age of 10 and when my family moved to live in Guernsey (Channel Islands). I love being outdoors and have been doing so all my life. I started climbing about 8 years ago and enjoy nothing more than a trad climbing on a sea cliff with the sun setting in the background. I also enjoy walking and backpacking – especially long wild camping trips. 

This year I will be the Chair of the club where it is my role to ensure the club runs as smoothly as possible and liaising with the SU. If you have any questions about what we do or want someone to go for a climb or to the pub with please get in touch (jdw83@bath.ac.uk)
