Who are we?

PhySoc is the Physics Society here at the University of Bath, and we welcome anyone wishing to join, whether you are studying Physics or simply have an interest!

We are an energetic society that provides fellow science enthusiasts with the opportunity to relax and bond together. We organize days out to awesome science places, nights out at Labyrinth, and enjoyable moments of contemplation over food and drinks. This fosters the growth and development of the scientist's brain alongside others who share similar interests.

Check our Career Links sub-page regularly for updated opportunities that might be useful for you!

Our entire calendar for Socials, Networking events, and more is on our  Instagram, Facebook, and Discord!

With over 6,000 organisations using our solutions to care for over 50 million patients, our software is used across all health and social care settings, including GPs, emergency departments, hospitals and mental health services. Our database is one of the largest in the world. It processes a billion transactions daily – more than the London Stock Exchange and Visa combined.

Our technology helps improve people’s lives across the world, whether it is scheduling immunisations for millions of children, allowing doctors to manage complex care for elderly patients, helping governments with the prevention of outbreaks, or developing new machine learning algorithms for the early diagnosis of disease. TPP is committed to helping tackle global health challenges, working with governments to deliver the technology required for the future of healthcare.

TPP has been consistently recognised as an outstanding graduate employer. Since 2017, we have consistently featured in The Job Crowds’ “Top Company for Graduates to Work For”, and were the overall winners for 2022 in addition to being awarded ‘Best Salary’ and ‘Best Benefits’. We have also been named in the Times Top 100 Graduate Employers list every year since 2019.

We have several graduate opportunities available ranging from Analyst to Software Developer with amazing starting salaries of up to £50k.
