What We Do
Welcome to Burban Dance Society! We are a dance society that offers a fun and social experience in a variety of street styles for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced dancers. Come and join to get to know our amazing n' friendly bunch of dancers and participate in lessons, performances, socials, and competitions!
Reasons to Join Us

Lessons/training sessions - learn basics, improve technical skills, and develop choreography skills in an encouraging environment and make friends across all years and courses.

Performances/Competition - we have regular events at/outside our University where you can perform with us as a group, or train hard for our annual dance competitions.

Socials - whether it’s a night out, bowling session, house party, movie night or casual meals, we have tonnes of socials for every kind of person!
- Workshops & Jams - we have special workshops (e.g. Kpop or Bollywood workshop) every so often to keep our members excited and also host / attend jams to connect with the wider dance community.

Thursday Foundations Lesson: 17:00 - 19:00 - Dance Studio, The Edge Level 3
Saturday Choreo Lesson: 16:00 - 17:30 - Dance Studio, The Edge Level 3

Lesson packs do not have to be used consecutively! They last all year :))
Note: If there are two lessons on the same day, you only need to pay for one
Free training sessions
These are sessions where members can come in and work on their own moves! We also use these sessions to rehearse for shows we are performing in.
Monday: 19:00 - 22:00 - Art Studio, The Edge Level 2
Friday: 19:00 - 21:00 - Art Studio, The Edge Level 2
Saturday: 17:30 - 20:00 - Dance Studio, The Edge Level 3
Sunday: 14:00 - 18:00 - Dance Studio, The Edge Level 3
