First Aid at Work Courses

Bath University First Aid Society has the means to run First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work courses privately through us. We are looking to run these courses at a reduced rate for students.

The Emergency first aid at work course covers: First Aid Principles, Scene Assessment, Infection Prevention, Basic Life support (CPR, Recovery position and choking), Seizures, Bleeding, Shock and Minor Injuries. The course is 8 hours or 1 day (6 Teaching hours) and is marked by practical assessments and 1 short 15-minute multiple choice paper. Upon completing the course, you will receive a certificate for Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work, that lasts for 3 years. This course normally costs around £70-£90. We are running it for students at a reduced cost of £30 (+VAT).

The First Aid at Work course covers: Everything in the Emergency course, Bone, Muscle and Joint Injuries, Head and Spinal Injuries, Burns and Scalds, Poisoning, Anaphylaxis, and other Major Illnesses (Like asthma attacks, heart attacks and strokes). The course is 24 Hours or 3 days (18 teaching hours) and will be taught over 2 weekends. The course is assessed by a number of practical assessments and 2 short multiple-choice papers. Upon completing the course, you will receive a Level 3 award in First Aid at Work, that lasts for 3 years. This course normally costs around £170-£190. We are running it for students at a reduced cost of £80 (+VAT).
