The Story

At the height of an industrial revolution in a far off land, the famed inventor Sir Archibald Irwin Wheelwright has finally completed his magnum opus, the world's first fully functioning airship known as The Prodigy. To celebrate his splendid achievement his friends and compatriots have been invited to an extravagant launch party. It is sure to be a night of rumours, networking and high society drama. Unfortunately little does everyone know, the evening will take a sour turn when one of the attendees drops down dead!! It is up to the guests of the party to unravel what really happened and catch the killer! It could even be you...

Accessibility Information - What can I expect from this event?

How much you embrace your character is entirely up to you! Theatrics and commitment to the bit is encouraged (we are the theatre society after all), but there is no pressure to act either. You will be expected to speak to your fellow party guests (ahem, Freshers) to try and gain clues from each other, but don't worry, you won't be expected to perform in front of an audience!

We welcome anyone and everyone, from the amateur sleuths to the theatre stars, and everyone in between. When you collect your character sheet, let us know how big or small of a role you'd like.

We eagerly await your arrival at this launch party to remember...
