The code of conduct includes lots of useful information to help you in your role. You can find information about mentor behaviour, meeting mentees safely, confidentiality, signposting support and what to do in an emergency, among other things.

These resources include lots of tips to help you successfully manage your relationships with your mentees. 

Supporting your mentees

• Writing a pre-arrival email.
• A sample pre-arrival email.
• Prompt questions for mentors - if you're not sure what to ask your mentees when you meet with them for the first time.
• Topics to discuss with mentees - ideas for things to talk to your mentees when you reach out to them or meet with them.
