Rep of the Month is for back 2023-24! We wanted to share the reasons why these Reps were chosen to be Rep of the Month for February.
Undergraduate - David Bryson (Computer Science)
Postgraduate Taught - Sarah Binesmael (MSc Computer Science)
"I'm DoS for PGT courses in Computer Science. Sarah Binesmael is the rep for one of our programmes: MSc Computer Science. I'm impressed how much work she's already done. She's communicating quite well with her cohort, keeping me on top of students feedback. This has allowed me to anticipate any issues, and already plan on activities for semester 2, one of which is an employability session. I'm impressed with her leadership skills, collecting feedback from students and making sure they have the best possible education. Sarah deserves to be recognised and it is my pleasure to nominate her as Rep of The Month."
Doctoral - Patrick Barry (Civil Engineering)
"Patrick has been one of our most consistently engaged doctoral faculty reps. He consistently attends meetings run by the university and SU, putting aside his personal opinions to represent the voice of his peers. He is passionate about gathering data on the doctoral experience at bath, often analysing university reports in detail to gain a better understanding of the doctoral experience at Bath. Patrick is generous with his time, often sending useful information to his fellow reps, and helping to connect students across the university."
