Rep of the Month is for back 2023-24! We wanted to share the reasons why these Reps were chosen to be Rep of the Month for November.

Undergraduate - Lola Osinoiki (Education with Psychology Year 1)

We were impressed at how highly Lola was commended despite only being a first-year student. Lola began showing her commitment to the role immediately with well-structured and helpful feedback collated from her peers and presented in a confident way. The feedback she has gathered will be extremely valuable in informing staff on the student views of curriculum transformation. We are thoroughly impressed and cannot wait to see what she will accomplish over the next year.

Postgraduate Taught - Ksenia Gorgonova (MSc Finance with Risk Management)

Since Ksenia began her role she has shown great initiative and taken on the concerns of students beyond her immediate cohort. Those she represents think highly of her proactive response and focus on the real issues faced by students, making them feel confident in her ability to make change. Ksenia seems to deeply care about improving the quality of education at Bath and seeks to develop better cooperation between students and staff. This includes the creation of a 'Collective Knowledge Hub' that combines resources such as textbooks and allows students to share their lecture notes. We can tell that Ksenia is committed to fostering an environment where students feel heard and supported by their institution; we feel this exemplifies what it means to be a Rep.

Doctoral - Nathan Roberts (Physics)

Nathan has gone above and beyond to support and communicate with his peers. He has shown a strong willingness to create a better Doctoral community and has a true passion for enhancing the professional opportunities of his peers. When faced with challenging situations, he has dealt with them with a positive attitude, ensuring he consistently asks for feedback from his peers and offers guidance when needed. Nathan is one of our best and most dedicated Doctoral Reps and as he comes to the end of his studies, we wish him luck in the future.

Congratulations to these students for their exceptional work and for winning a Rep of the Month mug and a LinkedIn recommendation.
