About Bath Entrepreneurs

Bath Entrepreneurs is the University of Bath's student entrepreneurship society, and one of the largest in the UK. Whether you want to launch your own startup, get real experience inside one, or just learn how ideas turn into companies, there is a place for you here.

You don't need a business plan or a business degree. Every course and every year is welcome. You just need to be curious.

Our Programmes

Five programmes, one community. Pick the one that sounds like you, or join more than one.

Innov8: "I want to actually learn AI."

Our new flagship programme. Learn how to use AI, then build with it at hands-on Build Nights, speaker sessions and hackathons with prizes. No technical background needed.

Acceler8: "I have an idea. I want to build it."

An 8-week accelerator that takes your startup from idea to pitch, ending in a London Demo Day. Top teams can win up to £2,000 equity-free, and two winners join ASES in London. Acceler8 alumni have raised over $7.5M, and two alumni startups, Throxy and Pacific, are backed by Y Combinator.

Collabor8: "I want to find my team."

Find a co-founder or offer your skills, from coding and design to marketing, research and data. Hackathons, mixers and co-founder matching across 12+ universities, including UCL, Imperial, Cambridge and Durham.

Elev8: "I want expert guidance."

1-to-1 mentoring, all year round, with founders, CEOs and industry experts matched to your goals. 46 mentor matches and 34 C-suite mentors so far.

Initi8: "I want real startup experience."

Short, remote, project-based internships (2 to 6 weeks) with real startups. 28 internships secured with 14 partner companies so far.

Speaker Series: "I just want to meet people."

Regular talks and panels with top founders, CEOs and investors. Learn what it really takes, ask your questions, and meet the people behind the companies.
