Come and meet other students looking for housemates at this speed-friending event.
You will be put into a break out room with 4-6 other students. After 10 minutes, you will leave that room and enter a new room for 10 minutes. Throughout the session you should go into 5-6 breakout rooms, meaning you could potentially meet around 30 other students!
If you meet someone you get on with, you can send them a private message on Teams to get to know them better after the event. Make sure you write down their name before you leave the breakout room so you can find them again.
These events are open to ALL students at the University of Bath. By running the event virtually you can connect with students in halls, at home, on placement and those learning remotely across the other side of the world.

FAQs
How many events can I attend? As many as you like. We have offered a range of times and dates to give flexible options.
How many people do I need in my group? Bath has a range of property sizes but to give yourself the most choice we would recommend groups of 4-5.
I'm going to be late. Can I still attend? Yes but you may need to wait for the next break-out room session. These will be at 10 minutes intervals.
I'm already in a group of 3 looking for one more. Can we attend together? Yes but you will not be put into the same breakout rooms as these are generated at random.
I've already found a property and need another person. You can still attend. Just make sure you let people know you already have these plans in place. They may want to live in a specific area of Bath which may not match with your property.
I'm going on a 6 month placement so need a room for half a year. Will I find a group to join? This event will mainly involve students looking for full year contracts. Please email hallreps@bath.ac.uk if you are on a 6 month placement as we will be compiling a list of students in this position.
