We hope you have enjoyed/are enjoying a well-deserved winter break and keeping well during the current uncertainties. As we enter 2021 we wanted to give you an update on the current circumstances regarding The Edge.
The Edge is still playing a vital role as a test centre for returning students and will do so until 05.02.20, therefore we will be unable to offer the use of our larger facilities during this time. We are currently reviewing how The Edge can function in Tiers 3 & 4 and we will be sending out information to arts committees and updating this page when we know more.
As we exited lockdown and returned to a tier system, the Arts Team have since been developing a series of virtual opportunities that can run regardless of the tier Bath is placed in. On this side of Christmas we hosted two workshops by West End performer Jacob Fisher and we are continuing to plan and develop virtual opportunities so that in the new year there will be, under any circumstance, a programme of arts events available to students. You can read about our exciting offer with the Bristol Old Vic HERE wherein you can access five theatrical productions for only £2.50!
We also have our winter photo competition running into February, it’s easy to get involved and is a great way to beat the winter blues. You can read more about the competition HERE. With the possibility of Tier 4 or further lockdowns we will be exploring ways of expanding our virtual opportunities in Semester 2.
We’d like to thank you all for your patience during this time and if you have any further enquiries then please drop an email to email@example.com
