Sam Brown: Guitar Tuition and Music Theory

Sam will be teaching on Wednesdays between 9:15 and 13:00 in the Music Studio.

Teaching will begin on Wednesday 16 February 2022.

Sam is an international performer and experienced teacher. A graduate of the Royal College of Music, Sam has played in major venues on three continents and for theatre, radio and TV (notably snarking Danny Dyer on BBC One the other year). He is an expert coach, guitarist and lute player, most familiar with classical, early music and folk genres, and also happy to teach fingerstyle and guitar basics. His lessons can be geared equally towards competent players and complete beginners. Outside of a hectic performing and teaching schedule, Sam loves kayaking, awful puns and a mild coffee addiction.

Once you have selected your time slot, please contact Sam at and state whether you want to study Guitar or Music Theory.
