Providing students with helpful information about living in the community and also convey a sense of what there is to enjoy. They will also get to explore student volunteering in their community.
The fair will be held outside in the large area at the front of the building, inside only if raining.
We are aiming to provide students with helpful information about living in the community and also convey a sense of what there is to enjoy so there will also be plant stalls, Dominos pizza, information about local shops, Co-Op and their student discount and also events including the Pumpkin Trail, new Book Group, opportunities to get involved with Volunteering (taster sessions) Community Warden information, eg Monthly Litter picks, information about student safety, eg river, etc.
The SU Student-Led Volunteering groups will also be showcasing how you can volunteer in the community.
The event is free to attend but gab a free ticket so we can see numbers of attendees.
