Only a couple of months into the academic year and RAG is doing brilliantly! Over 30 places were sold for the Bath Half Marathon, raising £2000 for last year’s Big 4 charities, while over 1,700 tickets were sold for the Fireworks on the Rec, raising £3640 for our Big 4 charities.
With the other money raised so far for this year’s Big 4, our current total is a fantastic £5,040!
There are some great RAG events we’re hoping to run in the coming months, including a Silent Disco, Take Me Out, the Sleep Out, and Get Lost in February and March.
These events, and the important fundraising they do for the Big 4 charities, couldn’t happen without fantastic volunteers and committee members like you. All volunteers are important but in October Hannah King, RAG Event Lead at the Bath Half, got an extra big shout out when she was voted as Volunteer of the Month! If you would like to nominate someone as Volunteer of the Month, please fill out the nomination form.
