What We Do
Hi there! University of Bath ABACUS (Association of British and Chinese University Students) is a multi-cultural society, that aims to bring a friendly and relaxed environment for British-born Asians and other like-minded people to meet.
Whether you miss the feeling of playing Big 2, want other people to jam to K-pop with or are simply interested in and want to experience more Asian culture and food, we welcome you to join us!
We hold regular and fun social events, to allow you to get to know others in the society and people in other societies too!
Important disclaimer: you absolutely do not need to be British or Chinese to join!
Activities and Socials
We run a range of socials throughout the year including:
- Annual Ice Skating and Christmas Dinner
- Sports games (badminton, rounders etc.)
- Games socials - League of Legends, Monopoly, Dota 2, Super Smash, Poker, COD etc.
- Karaoke
- Event dinners
- Trampolining
- Bar crawls
- Club nights
- Potlucks
