As you can see - the building is really coming together now! After talking the the Project Manager, Tim Harris, he explained that normally the construction of a building can be split into three parts... with a 1/3 of the time spent on the groundwork with the foundations, a 1/3 of the time spent on the structure, and a 1/3 of the time spent inside the building.

Given that this is not 100% a new building, but an addition to an existing one, the time must be spent differently. We will see a lot of the time spent on the building in phase two - which will commence on the 7th of June and will be working on the brickwork and the inside of the building.

Also, having talked to Tim, we are looking to have a topping out ceremony before the summer break which is fantastic news and will hopefully generate even more excitement before everybody leaves for summer holiday!
