Being “not racist” is not enough, being anti-racist is what we all need to aim for. Anti-racism isn’t a belief it is a set of actions. The Active Anti-racist Ally training will provide you with knowledge and practical skills on how to tackle racism in higher education. Following on from the Black Lives Matter discussions in 2020, we want to equip students in this area, so you can confidently tackle issues and support Black students and staff who are experiencing racism in higher education and their everyday lives. This workshop will be an introduction to anti-racism in student opportunities.
