The Modern Varsities Premier Kickboxing Fight Night
On 28th November at the Sports Training Village, The University of Bath will attempt to overcome Loughborough in the first Varsity Fight Night between the two universities. For many years the two universities have fought hard on the playing fields yet superiority has not yet been achieved. Now the universities have a real chance to show their true physical dominance in the mode of man to man combat within the ring.
Both universities have selected their top 13 fighters. All fighters have been matched according to ability and weight. Although Loughborough have a severe weight advantage of 90kg, the Bath Kickboxers are confident that their skilful edge will be the difference between the two universities.
Not only will the event be recorded in the history books as the first varsity fight night, it will also be making money for the charity organisation Help for Heroes. At a time where the lives of those who fought in WWI/II are remembered, we hope the night will provoke further interest from the student population who wish to show respect to those who fought for our freedom today.
Support your university fighters, your friends or the Help for Heroes charity.
Tickets are being sold at only £3 per ticket and will be released to the students of Bath on Monday 17th November via the Plug bar and parade stands throughout the next two weeks.
Buy your Kickboxing and Flirt ticket at the same time and get them both for £5!
