Longleat & Safari Park

Itinerary:
09.00am -  leave University East car park
09.15am -  Pick up at Avon Street Car park
10.15am – 11.45am approx   Coach Tour of Safari Park
11.45 - 5.30pm - Free time to explore the grounds and attractions
5.30pm –   return home
 
Tickets are on sale from the SU Finance Office only. Tickets include entry to the Safari, Longleat House and the main Longleat Attractions as well as travel to and from Longleat,
 
Safari
Visit the UK’s No 1 Safari, which when opened in 1966 was the first ever Safari outside of Africa. See and interact with a wide range of exotic animals including: Giraffes, cheetahs, elephants, lions and gorillas. 
Unfortunately the coach will not be able to go through the monkey section.

Longleat House

Explore one of the most stunning Stately Homes in Britain. Admire the antiques, the infamous ornate ceilings or the multiple libraries which house over 40,000 books. Tours are also available of the private chattels or go behind the scenes in a tour that explore the secret/hidden rooms, passages and cupboards not usually seen by the public. Alternatively, take in some history listening to ghostly tales of the Grey Lady or Elizabeth I.

Adventure Park

The Adventure Park boasts some amazing new attractions and animals. With over 15 attractions to enjoy set within 900 acres of stunning ‘Capability Brown Landscaped parkland’ you won’t be short of entertainment. You can journey into the Jungle Kingdom – watch out for the Meerkats and Nico the Gorilla. Or get up close and personal with Tarantulas or snakes in the ranger shows.

  • We have the right to cancel any trip if it is under subscribed, purchases will be contacted within 48 hours of the trip if a cancellation is necessary and a full refund will be given.
  • Please note we cannot guarantee the traffic and therefore times at each destination may be reduced.
