In her TED Talk, "Your body language may shape who you are," social psychologist Amy Cuddy argues that nonverbal communication influences not only how others perceive us but also our own thoughts, feelings, and physiology.

But can power poses and 'faking until you make it' really make a difference? If so, how can we learn to recognise and avoid low - power behaviors and try to embarace high - power behaviors without being aggressive? Join us in both a viewing of her talk and a discussion of what it means for us.

This is the second TED Talk Viewing of the year. A new addition to TEDx Bath Club, we host a free TED Talk Viewing at least once a week, tentatively on Tuesday and Friday evenings. Sessions will be 18:15-19:15, though location may vary from day to day.
