Come and visit the iconic Roman Baths for a classic introduction to Bath’s history! Tick off your sightseeing bucket list and explore where Romans bathed over 2000 years ago with your fellow freshers.
This event is free to attend and open to all students - just turn up - you do not need a wristband to attend! However, to gain access to the Roman Baths you will need your student card, as free entry cannot be permitted without it.
Important
Captains will be outside the Baths entrance (look out for the signs they are holding!) to direct you inside and manage queues. Please bring your student card with you to gain free entry.
Please note there are metal detectors upon entry, and no food or drink (except water in a secure bottle) and no luggage other than small backpacks up to 30 litres are permitted.
Accessibility Information - What can I expect from this event?
The Roman Baths are a popular visitor attraction so there may be large numbers of members of the public present during your visit. This could lead to some noise and crowds throughout the Baths. The site includes a reception, exhibition rooms, a museum, a living museum with actors, and a shop. You will follow a route through the Baths and can progress at your own pace.
